About Grim
Most hot rods with an electric pump run it flat out all day and let the regulator dump the excess back. It works, but the pump is louder, hotter and working harder than it needs to, and pressure still wanders as conditions change.
Grim measures fuel pressure and runs the pump only as hard as it takes to hold your target. It's the same closed-loop approach as Grim Max, packed into one small all-in-one unit for the pumps most carbureted cars actually run.
In English and Scandinavian folklore, the church grim is the guardian of a churchyard, said to be the spirit of the first creature buried there, most often a black dog, set to watch over the ground. People who glimpsed it took it for an omen of death. It was standing watch the whole time.
